About Quinlan Contracting

A veteran-owned remodeling company built on a simple idea: do what you say you'll do.

Why We Started Quinlan Contracting

Quinlan Contracting started with a frustration that most Pittsburgh homeowners know firsthand. Across years in the trade, owner Trent Quinlan kept hearing the same stories: the contractor who stopped answering the phone halfway through, the quote that crept up with every change order, the crew that left a mess and never came back. Every contractor in the area advertised the same things, good communication, punctuality, quality work, and very few actually delivered them.

Trent, a veteran, built Quinlan Contracting to be the company he'd want working on his own home. That meant running every project with an in-house crew instead of handing jobs off to whoever was available. It meant answering the phone, showing up when he said he would, and standing behind a quoted price. It also meant years of patiently building a roster of skilled, dependable tradesmen, because a finished space is only as good as the people who build it.

Today, Quinlan Contracting remodels homes throughout Pittsburgh's western suburbs, from single bathrooms to full second-story additions. The work has grown, but the standard hasn't changed.

No Surprises
You hear about any cost or scope change before the work happens, so the final bill never catches you off guard.

Craftsmanship Over Shortcuts
We'd rather break out the old concrete and do it right than work around it and hope you don't notice.

Treat the Home Like It's Ours
We use other entrances when we can, clean up at the end of every day, and keep the disruption to your life as small as possible while we work.

Do What You Say
If we quote a price, that's the price. If we give you a date, we work to hit it. The whole company is built on following through.

    Trent Quinlan

    OWNER

Trent started Quinlan Contracting in 2020. Prior to starting his own business, he spent years working in residential contracting while earning a degree in Business Management at Franklin University. He joined the Marine Corps at 17, which helped him develop a strong work ethic. This carried into his trade work and his goal of building a company of his own. What began as a small, hands-on operation has grown into a trusted local contracting business serving homeowners throughout the greater Pittsburgh area.

Mitchell Quinlan joined the Quinlan Contracting team as a finish carpenter, bringing the kind of attention to detail that high-end remodels demand. Who We're a Fit For

We work best with homeowners who care more about getting it done right than getting it done cheapest, and who want a single team they can trust with a major project.

This is for you if:

  • You're planning an addition, a whole-home remodel, or a full kitchen, bath, or basement

  • You value clear communication and a price that doesn't move

  • You'd rather hire one accountable crew than juggle a list of subcontractors

  • You're investing in a home you plan to enjoy for years

  • Your project budget starts around $10,000 or more

How We’re Different

One crew, never handed off: The team that starts your project is the team that finishes it. No revolving door of subcontractors.

We answer the phone: Trent is known for never missing a call or a quote appointment. You won't be left wondering where things stand.

The quote is the price: We stick to what we quoted. Any change is priced and approved with you before the work is done.

We finish what we start: On time and on budget isn't a slogan here. It's the line our reviews repeat over and over.
